Norvegia® Extra Well-Aged with Crust is cut from large cheese wheels. The cheese is aged for 15 months on wooden shelves in our traditional cheese cellars, and is regularly turned to achieve even maturation. During the aging period, Norvegia® Extra Well-Aged develops into an especially distinctive variant of the well-known flavor of Norvegia®. The flavor is best enjoyed when cut into generous slices and paired with, for example, honey and nuts, or with fine cured meats on a tapas platter. Norvegia® Extra Well-Aged also serves as a flavor enhancer in both cold and hot dishes.
